Pilates
Pilates exercises combine strengthening with relaxation, they lighten the load on your spine and joints by correcting muscular imbalances due to bad posture or misuse of muscles and alleviate tension. Pilates builds strength from your deep core muscles so that they support your body effectively in movement, you will be less likely to suffer from muscular and joint aches and pains and feel a reduction of tension and strain in the body. Pilates helps to keep the body flexible, shaped and toned with a development of muscle definition. Pilates also helps to relieve stress and gives a sense of calm and wellbeing, helping to release endorphins making you feel energized and invigorated. People often say they have a great nights sleep after a pilates workout due to the reduction of fatigue and stress that it gives.
